A Treasure Chest and a Crate.
The Crate is an item introduced in Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest. Crates are generic boxes found all over Crocodile Isle. They act much like Vine Barrels in the previous game, where, if thrown, they instantly break upon contact with the floor or enemy (unlike Barrels, which can roll). A single crate returns in Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble! in the stage Barrel Drop Bounce.
