Donkey Kong Racing was a game Rare announced that they were developing for the Nintendo GameCube, and it was supposed to be a sequel to Diddy Kong Racing. Unfortunately, game title was lost in time after Rare went to be Microsoft's first-party company, and Rare stopped developing any more games for Nintendo's main consoles and longer gained the rights to the Donkey Kong games.

For that matter, it was finally declared that the game become vaporware, as its development was absolutely non-existent. In other words, the game got canceled.

GameplayEdit

The game revolved around the player having to train his/her animal buddy/formal enemy to win prizes first, eat fruit to gain stronger and then will be able to race against his/her opponents with its mounter.^[1]
