Planes are vehicles in Diddy Kong Racing and it's remake/sequel. Planes are capable of flight travel and can be used to reach high platforms that a car and hovercraft normally can't reach. Planes can be used in most levels except Walrus Cove, Snowball Valley, Whale Bay, Crescent Island, Pirate Lagoon, Greenwood Village, Boulder Canyon, Haunted Woods, and Darkmoon Caverns. Each character has a different colored plane.
