Wrinkly's Retreat is a location on the Northern Kremisphere run by Wrinkly Kong in Donkey Kong Country 3 for the Game Boy Advance. Wrinkly's Retreat replaces the first Save Cave from the SNES counterpart.
Summary[]
Wrinkly's Retreat is only found once on the overworld map, and is located between Bazaar's General Store and Funky's Rentals. The Save Caves of the separate worlds were replaced with Cranky's Dojos. Due to being able to save by pausing on the overworld map, the Save Caves would be obsolete in the GBA version. Therefore, Wrinkly only cares for the Banana Birds, keeping them at her Retreat. Since the location was revamped from the original Donkey Kong Country 3's version, Wrinkly no longer plays a Nintendo 64, exercises or naps.
The most major use of this location is when all Banana Birds are assembled, where they can be used to free the Banana Bird Queen and get the true ending of the game.

Trivia[]
- The markings on the walls of Wrinkly's Retreat resemble the symbols of the barrier keeping the Banana Bird Queen imprisoned.
