Flaming Tiki Buzzes are flying tiki enemies on fire that appear in the games Donkey Kong Country Returns and Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D. While they are on fire, they are invincible against all physical attacks by the Kongs.

Overview[]

Flaming Tiki Buzzes are variants of Tiki Buzzes. Because of the fire making them immune against physical attacks, usually, these enemies must be avoided. However, Donkey and Diddy Kong can blow on Flaming Tiki Buzzes to extinguish the flames temporarily, and jump on them to defeat them, but only if they are within blowing distance. They are commonly encountered inside mine cart levels and should be avoided at all costs, as just one hit will defeat both primates. Rambi the Rhinoceros cannot defeat these enemies, as he is not immune to fire. Whether they being on fire or not, Flaming Tiki Buzzes can also be defeated by single barrels thrown at them.

Trivia[]

  • ļ»æDespite the fact that Flaming Tiki Buzzes are variants of Tiki Buzzes in the games Donkey Kong Country Returns and Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D, there are no flaming counterparts for Tiki Torks, large variants of Tiki Buzzes.
  • In the games Donkey Kong Country Returns and Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D, if there is a rare situation in which Donkey and/or Diddy Kong could blow Flaming Tiki Buzzes out for a moment and then roll into them in midair, even though they are not ignited when hit, their flames will return as they fly off-screen.
