Ford Knocks (フォードノックス, Fōdo Nokkusu in Japan) is the third stage of the Cape Codswallop world, as well as the third stage overall in the game Donkey Kong Land III. It is preceded by Seabed Shanty and is followed by Total Rekoil.
This stage is also a part of the time attack mode in the game. For reasons unknown, this stage is known as Stilt in this mode instead of its regular name. It's default high score time is 0:48:00.
Overview[]
This stage is the second boardwalk stage and is even higher up than the boardwalks in the first boardwalk stage, Red Wharf. This means that if the Kongs fall down the boardwalk, they may not be able to get back up. This stage also has a flowing body of water underneath the boardwalk for the Kongs to swim. The river might be an easier way to complete the stage, but most of the collectibles are found on the boardwalks, so therefore it is preferred that Dixie and Kiddy stay on the boardwalk. Sneeks and Kobbles return in this stage, but has newer enemies in the stage including Buzzes, Knik-Knaks and Booty Birds.
