Overview[]

Within the cargo hold of a sunken ship in a swamp, Diddy and Dixie will try to traverse the dimly lit waters. In Donkey Kong Country 2, they will have the help of their new Animal Buddy Glimmer the Anglerfish. However, in Donkey Kong Land 2, the Kongs must use various Light Barrels to illuminate the dark environments temporarily.

Walkthrough[]

Collectables and Secrets[]

Donkey Kong Country 2[]

DK Coin[]

The DK Coin is hidden near the beginning of the stage, after swimming up through some rooms with bananas that make up arabic numerals.

Photographs[]

In the GBA version of Donkey Kong Country 2, two Photographs can be found.

  1. One photograph is found by defeating a Shuri near the "N" of the K-O-N-G Letters.
  2. The second photograph is hidden in a shortcut around the first vertical area, and after some Lockjaws.

Bonus Rooms[]

  1. The first Bonus Room being near the start of the level, it is not very hidden, unlike the Kremkoin within.
  2. The second Bonus Room is beneath a Lockjaw. It is similar to the area where the player first find Enguarde the Swordfish in the game.

Donkey Kong Land 2[]

DK Coin[]

After going up into some crates and passing by some Puftups, the player will find the DK Coin.

Bonus Rooms[]

  1. The first Bonus Room is located by moving left from the start of the stage.
  2. the second Bonus Room can be found after Enguarde the Swordfish disappearing by crossing a No Enguarde Sign. By swimming into crates, and passing by some Puftups, the player will see a Bonus Barrel just above the water.

Trivia[]

  • Interestingly, despite the stage keeping the same name in the game Donkey Kong Land 2, Glimmer the Anglerfish is absent of it, and replaced with various Light Barrels. It is probably due to hardware restraints of the Game Boy.
