Krazy Koaster is the twenty-seventh stage in the game Donkey Kong Land 2, as well as the second stage in the Gloomy Gulch world. It comes after Ghostly Grove and before Gusty Glade.
Overview[]
The stage replaces Haunted Hall from Donkey Kong Country 2, due to the Game Boy hardware being unable to support graphics of a Kackle, a ghost enemy. This stage is known to be much easier and only has two kinds of enemies: Zingers and Flitters. There are also pits which are a minor threat.
Walkthrough[]
Diddy and Dixie Kong must first jump into the Skull Cart, then jump over a pit surrounding three Zingers. Afterwards, there is another gap which is easy to jump across. Later, they need to repeat this step again and go on the wild track. Then, they need to jump over a few more gaps until they reach the Star Barrel. Next, the Kongs must hop over a few more Zingers above pits, and cross two other gaps and a few more pits until reaching the spring to clear the stage.
Trivia[]
- Another stage in Donkey Kong Land 2, Dungeon Danger, is a replacement to the stage Castle Crush from Donkey Kong Country 2. Overall, there are only two stages acting as replacements in the game.
- Despite the world map showing the stage taking place indoors (Due to the map being designed with Haunted Hall in mind) Krazy Koaster takes place in an outdoor amusement park.
- Koaster is spelled with a K, much like other Kremling related things in the Donkey Kong series.
