Master Necky is the giant Necky boss of the world Monkey Mines of the Donkey Kong Island, as well as the second boss overall in the game Donkey Kong Country. He can be found in the stage Necky's Nuts, preceded by Millstone Mayhem and followed by Vulture Culture.

In the Game Boy Advance version of the same game, Master Necky also reappears in the Chimp Caverns stage Necky's Revenge, alongside the boss Master Necky Snr.

Overview[]

In order to defeat Master Necky, the Kongs must jump on his head when he finishes launching a coconut. After avoiding the accurate projectile, the Kongs must jump on its head and repeat the process until he is defeated. His attack pattern does not notably increase per hit.

In the GBA version of Donkey Kong Country, he has changed a little. In his battle, he gains invincibility before spitting a coconut (he will be glowing red) and spits some when he is retreating. In the same version, a Necky's photograph of the Scrapbook can be obtained by Donkey Kong handslapping the center of the boss arena.

Master Necky also appears alongside Master Necky Snr. in the second to last boss fight of the GBA version of the game.

Trivia[]

  • Funny enough, Master Necky's usual boss stage is called Necky's Nuts. This was referring to the coconuts he would spit out during the battle.
