Muncher Marathon is a cavern-themed level in Donkey Kong Country Returns. It is the level before the boss level of the Forest world on Donkey Kong Island. This level is unique because of a swarm of Munchers that swarm behind the Kongs, engulfing them if the Kongs fall behind. This is one of the hardest levels in the game (more for the collection of the K-O-N-G letter and Puzzle Pieces rather than the actual completion of the level).
