Poisonous Pipeline, (さかさまパイプライン Sakasama paipurain in Japan), is the thirty-fifth stage in Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble! (forty-first in the Game Boy Advance remake) and the fifth area of KAOS Kore. Enguarde the Swordfish is present in this stage to help out Dixie and Kiddy. It is preceded by Koindozer Klamber and followed by Kastle KAOS.

Overview

The area is full of poisonous purple water. Even though the water is said to be poisonous, all it does is reverse the Kongs' left and right directions. They will have to cope with this issue as they get through the level. Lurchins and Kocos lurk in the tunnels, with a single Krimp inhabiting the land areas. The star barrel is hidden in a smaller tunnel. Much later into the level the group will find the surface. If they continue north from this area, they will eventually exit the crazy water, and find the flagpole that will end the level.

Trivia

  • The poisonous water does the same thing as the purple clouds do in Donkey Kong Country 2 in the K. Rool fight. They both switch the directions to make the level/fight harder.
